What’s your best time-saving shortcut or life hack?

1: I’ve turned off voice mail. Just do it.
2: I use Doodle pro to schedule my meetings, this saves me at least 100 hours a year.

What’s your favorite to-do list manager?

I’ve used most over the years. I prefer Trello but dip in and out with it. I have a personal system I’ve created on Google calendar, which works fine for me.

Besides your phone and computer, what gadget can’t you live without and why?

I’m fortunate that I don’t rely on much, however it would have to be the dishwasher.

Do you find yourself always working on something? Or when you finish a project, do you take time to let your mind wander without concern for what’s next?

I have a huge ‘projects to do’ list, there’s always something I could be getting on with.

What everyday thing are you better at than everyone else? What’s your secret?

Finding faster and better ways to do everything. I must be inherently lazy, whenever I complete a task for the second time I try to find a way to automate it.

What do you listen to while you work?

Mostly Apple Music, I’m a fan of their radio stations. I have a very eclectic music taste. Mainly focused on house music, however I can be found listening to Bob Dylan, DeadMau5, Ellie Goulding, Eminem. I’m really into Bears Den atm.

What are you currently reading?

At the moment, not much. I’m too into podcasts, so mostly consuming audio content. However I read business and marketing books. I’ve read most of the top 100’s in both categories. I’m a huge Seth Godin fan, I owe him a lot. Also special mention to Warren Buffett for his wise teachings which I closely follow.

How do you recharge?

I’ve been practising Yoga for approx 1.5 years now and also dipping in and out of meditation. I go to the gym frequently and play most sports if I get the chance. I’m in hotels a lot so try to focus on activities which are hotel friendly. I have recently started tennis and have got very into it.

What’s your sleep routine like? Are you a night owl or early-riser?

I can work late into the night, however my most productive works done in the mornings. I’m not up super early, however when I rise I’m excited. However I try and not work or check emails first thing. I’m actively practising boredom in 2016 and also ruthlessly trying to single task. From 8:30-12:30 I’m in my action zone, getting lots done.

Fill in the blank: I’d love to see _________.

Warren Buffett’s average day.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

Everything you know is wrong.

Is there anything else you’d like to add that might be interesting to readers?

Everyone say’s ‘it’ can’t be done, until ‘it’ is. Don’t listen to the outspoken minority, they want you to fail and do all they can to ensure others stay at their level. Pay them no minds.
